Karnak Temple
The first place to visit in Luxor is the Karnak temple complex. The temple is dedicated to Amun, but it also contains about 25 other temples and chapels. There you will see a great carvings and perfect statues along a huge columns and obelisks.
Hatshepsut Temple
It is one of the best monumental places around the world dedicated to queen Hatshepsut and Amun. The temple consists of three levels with outstanding writings carved on the walls of the temple that describe the queen's life and achievements.
Valley of the Kings
The Valley of the Kings is the place wherein you will witness how strong the ancient Egyptians believed in life after death and how they treat the dead. It houses inside its folds a collection of 63 sophisticated chambers, each of which embraces a body of a certain mummified royal with all that comes with them!
Colossi of Memnon
The site contains two gigantic statues of Amenhotep III and the site’s strange naming came from the Ethiopian King, Memnon, who was a Greek hero. Having been built in 1350 BC, the two stone figures managed to prove their invincibility against time and nature.

The High Dam
Aswan High Dam is one of the top Egyptian architectural achievements of the last century. It has been much of help to the Egyptian Nation, from farmers to the citizens for it being a catalyst to Egyptian agriculture and a soother to the sudden or the excepted floods!
The Unfinished Obelisk
It is located in Aswan’s ancient quarries carved from the Red Aswan Granite. They believe that if it was finished, it would be the largest obelisk ever with about 140 feet in height. Had not been it for Hatshepsut’s orders, the Unfinished Obelisk would not have stood the chance to come into existence.

Philae Temple
The Philae Temple stands on a beautiful island in the Nile River. It was built to praise the goddess, Isis. It also includes a lot of masterpiece statues and huge columns that decorate the Temple. It’s a temple that has one of the most unique locations ever for being surrounded by the Nile River.
