The smallest pyramid was constructed by king Menkaure the sixth ruler of the 4th dynasty in 2510 BC to be his final resting place following the legacy of his father and his grandfather.

It was constructed using a combination of limestone on the exterior and a red granite on the interior and it has the height of 61 m (204 ft.) and stands on a base of 108.5 m plus it has the angel of the 51°20′25″. On the south of the pyramid are three satellite pyramids and each pyramid is a temple and a substructure.
